You don't need to face this journey alone.
Living with endometriosis or adenomyosis can feel lonely. Sometimes you just need to connect with people who truly understand. But if like me, you struggle to get to in-person meetings such as the ones held by Endo UK (which are fab by the way!), why not join me online from the comfort of your sofa!? No need to go outside, walk anywhere or put on a brave face. Just buy your ticket, book your chosen day and time, and log on to Google Meet each week in your PJs if you need to! However you feel most comfy.

Brief overview of my symptoms and story...
- Started my periods at 11 years of age
- Always heavy and painful with clots, but I thought that was normal!
- Extreme pain started when I was 13, then a week after my 14th birthday, I had emergency surgery as they thought it was my appendix! Which it wasn't! Turns out I had a burst cyst... but the pain carried on.
- Went on 2 x Cerazette contraceptive pills at 15 or 16, maybe earlier - I can't remember exactly!
- Migraines, pain, heavy bleeding was sort of under control.
- Came off the pill at 28 to try and concieve - I lasted 2 weeks before begging to go back on it!
- Multiple surgeries on NHS and Private due to pain in my back, hips, groin; constant UTI symptoms; struggled to work or do anything really due to the extreme fatigue! Just generally depressed, run down and fed up of being ignored!
- Diagnosed with Endo in Dec 2020, aged 30.
- More surgeries before a full Hysterectomy in May 2024... and I've never been so relieved! Not a total cure as such, but a good reduction in pain and Symptoms.... from the Endo side anyway!
My findings:
Endo on bowel (caecum), pouch of douglas, right ovary, urethra, abdominal wall and ligaments in my pelvis.
Adenomyosis in my womb - lots of it! Probably unlikely to be able to carry a baby so would mean a difficult pregnancy, so the hysterectomy was the right way forward for me!
